How much space is available in my PSU email account?

Depending on your status at the University, your ODIN account will have a fixed amount of mailbox space on PSU mail servers.

Students can store 500mb in their university email accounts.
Staff/Faculty can store 2gb in their university email accounts.

If you are nearing the upper limit of your quota, space can be freed up via the following methods:

• Deleting old or unneeded messages, especially sent messages.
• Emptying spam and trash folders.
• Deleting messages with large attachments

Staff and faculty needing expanded storage space for University business should first attempt the above troubleshooting steps. Instructions on how to do this can be found in this article.  If more space is still needed, contact the Help Desk for assistance.

Your space available/ used should be visible while viewing your inbox:

For a more detailed view click on "Account Information" and "Show detailed Mail Quota."

A breakdown of your space allocation will then appear.
