Obtaining Educational Pricing Software for Employees and Students from OETC

  1. Go to www.techhead.org
  2. Click "Enter the Higher Education Store" at the bottom center.
  3. TechHead has a typical shopping cart setup. Browse by selecting companies from the list on the left, then look through the software titles and select what you want. You can click on the title to get more details or you can add it directly to your cart. If there are multiple versions of the software (e.g. Mac or PC, 32-bit or 64-bit, etc.) you'll be asked to select a quantity for the version you wish to purchase. Be aware that Microsoft Office 2007 and 2010 are for PC and Office 2008 and 2011 are for Mac.
  4. Once you add the title to your cart there will be a link along the top to “Check Out Now.” If you aren't logged in, you'll be asked to do so. If you don't have a TechHead account, you can click "register." Registration requires verifying your status as a student, the recommended method being using your PSU email account (if you don't know your PSU email address, and are a current student or staff, contact the help desk at 503-725-4357).
