How to Use OAM to Manage your Existing Odin Account

This article will describe how to use the ODIN Account Manager (OAM) system to manage your ODIN account. OAM allows you to synchronize your ODIN account with your PSU Information System (Banweb) login, so that you may use one username and password to access all PSU computing resources. If you ever forget your password, OAM also has a handy 'Forgot Password' feature that will allow you to reset your own login information from any computer 24/7, without having to verify your identity with the User Support Services Helpdesk.

Method 1:  Phone Call during business hours
 
As of February 2009, the Helpdesk will now accept phone calls from users during business hours to have their identity verified by one of the Helpdesk Staff members.  Users will be asked to provide their Social Security number, birthdate and PSU ID# for any Odin, Banweb and OAM password resets and Odin activations.  During non-business hours, users can get their account password reset or activated via the two methods below.

Understanding Networking & Telecom Online Billing Details

The summary of charges which appear at the top of the online statement corresponds to the organizational detail report in Banner.  The JC number, shown in the upper right corner of the bill, can be used to look up the summary in Banner.  Usage charges are Banner account code 22011, Recurring charges are 22010, One-time charges are 22012, and Cellular Charges are 22013.

Step 1. To view department account billing details, go to banweb.pdx.edu and sign in with a PSU ID and PIN.


Step 2. In the main menu select Finance.  Only Banner Finance Users have access to the online bill.  If after logging into BanWeb a Finance tab is not available please contact Networking & Telecom at 5-4434 or by emailing nts-requests@pdx.edu.  Our office will assist in gaining Banner Finance access.
