Installing and Using Cisco AnyConnect VPN Client for iOS 4

This article will describe how to install and use the Cisco AnyConnect VPN Client on an iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch running iOS 4 or greater. Using the AnyConnect VPN client allows you to create a secure tunnel through the internet from your device to PSU servers, through which your network traffic passes. Your device is assigned a PSU network address, and appears to the outside world as a device on the PSU network. This allows you to use resources that are only accessible from the PSU network, such as Banner, or Remote Desktop connections to your work computer.

What can I do with an Odin account?

A PSU computer account, or Odin account, is essential for accessing on-campus technology and learning tools. Establishing an Odin account will allow you to use the following PSU resources:

What is the AnyConnect VPN Client?

The Office of Information Technology is pleased to bring you the Cisco AnyConnect VPN Client. Using AnyConnect, PSU Faculty, Staff, and Students can easily make secure connections to the PSU network from off-campus. Using this client also allows you to run applications that require an active license server connection. The AnyConnect Client requires no setup beyond entering your Odin Username and Password, and is fully compatible with 64-bit operating systems.
