OIT Training Schedule - Fall 2009

Workshops are offered throughout the academic year by the Office of Information Technologies and are available to PSU faculty, staff, and students at no cost. To register for classes, send email to mluebke@pdx.edu with the class and date you would like to register for. Please contact the workshop instructor if you have any questions.

What happens if I print more than 500 pages per term?

If you exceed the 500 page print quota in a single term, you will automatically be charged for additional pages at a rate of $0.025 per page. This will be billed to your student account.

Open Lab Printing Policy

Printing in the Portland State University general access computing labs is regulated by printing quotas. Each user is allocated 500 pages per term that do not carry over to the next term. Users that do not exceed their quota will not incur any charges.

What is the print quota?

Printing in the Portland State University general access computing labs is regulated by print quotas. Each user is allocated 500 pages per term that do not carry over to the next term. Users that do not exceed their quota will not incur any charges. Users that print more than 500 pages per term will be assesed a per-page fee.

What software is available in PSU Computer labs?

Labs and classrooms maintained by OIT have the following software installed. Some locations also have additional software installed. Please note that software, versions, and locations may change without notice.

 

How can I turn on/off double-sided printing?

Duplexing (also referred to as double-sided printing) is printing on both the front and back sides of a single sheet of paper. Generally all OIT labs and classrooms printers are set up to duplex by default. In the event that you need to turn on/off duplex printing, follow the instructions below.
